We FINALLY made it to this moment

This is the time we have been waiting for for so long! We have seen houses, been let down so many times, had the highest of highs and the lowest of lows and we FINALLY made it!

OUR OFFER WAS ACCEPTED! WE HAVE A HOUSE!

This specific house we found was on the market for about ten months! And up before that too! This house has been owned by the same owners for almost 45 years! Thats awesome for us because we know it wasn’t someone that let it just go to hell, but it definitely needs work!

So here I am searching for flooring, layouts, all the fun things in a house. It is such a surreal feeling and I want to soak up every little bit of it! I got the text message today while in class and sat there crying and shaking because I have been waiting for this moment for so long and its finally here!

Now the next steps are waiting for the attorney to sign off on the contract and get the home inspection done (which the inspector wants to do it tomorrow! eek!). Then we wait for the paperwork to go through all the steps! This specific house is also being sold as is and therefore we know the owners cant afford to fix anything and therefore the only thing they are taking care of is the Septic system and tank need to be replaced. This is good for us because we will have a brand new system we can start from scratch with!

Today is like a dream and I need to try to convince myself I OWN A HOUSE! Now all the hard work starts! Time to be an adult to the highest extent haha!
