This year I’ll be missing out on celebrating the 4th of July. Although I have to work, I’m lucky enough to work with my best friend. Seeing everyone preparing to party and have a good time and watch some fireworks sucks because I know I won’t be able to participate, but of course the paycheck will be worth it. Seeing fireworks is something that not everyone gets to enjoy, so I do feel lucky enough to live in a country where I get to embrace small things like this. I am a very lucky person and sometimes you have to give something up to get something even better to come your way. I firmly believe everything happens for a reason.
